BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans left with 'goosebumps' as they call dance 'one of best ever'

Strictly Come Dancings were left in shock after watching what they described as 'one of the best ever' on the show.

Finishing Saturday live show were Bury actor Layton Williams and his partner Nikita Kuzmin who performed a Quickstep to Gregory Porter's Puttin’ On The Ritz.

And it turned out to be the dance of the night with the duo scoring 36 - four 9s from the judges - with Craig Revel Horwood branding them 'ridiculous.'

And those watching at home agreed describing the routine as 'unmatchable' and one of the best ever they'd seen.

@sophie_douglas1 wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "Hands down one of if not THE best dance I’ve ever seen on strictly, regardless of what week it is. A cool guys and dolls/newsies vibe that was UNMATCHABLE. I was screaming at my TV I was so excited. My winning couple."

@thepediary and added: "One of the best dances on Strictly, ever! Go @laytonwilliams" while @SharP_wisewords wrote: "That dance from Layton and Nikita ranks with my other all time best dance by Giovanni and Rose."

@MsLaurenAustin agreed posting: "You know I think this may be one of the best series of strictly in a long time. The level is fantastic and there are so many so close to each other!" with @_erinz_ saying: "Layton and Nikita oh my GOD that is one of the best dances I’ve ever ever seen on this damn show."

Others were also full of praise for the couple branding the performance 'incredible' with @turntheboxon adding: "Literally my jaw is on the floor. I have actual goosebumps. Layton is incredible."

Saturday's show was the second live programme of the series.
