BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans issue Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell complaint over 'words from another planet'

Strictly Come Dancing fans issued a complaint following Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell's latest performance. The pair were back in the ballroom on Saturday night (November 30) after they made it through to the quarter-finals.

The latest edition of the BBC One dance contest was also Strictly's Musicals Week special and Chris and Dianne scored 32 for their quickstep to You’re The Top from Anything Goes, with Dianne screaming with delight at the end of the performance.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood said of the dance: "Your posture, I think, suffered in this particular dance coming up, and it was getting a little bit hunched again, and your weight seemed to be drifting a little bit too far forward.

"The footwork at the end was not right as well, but you know what you bring to this? Personality, the acting was absolutely brilliant. And I agree with everyone else, the movement around the floor, the amount of floor you covered, was exceptional."

Soon after, Dianne was heard addressing the criticism they received. She told Claudia Winkleman: "I am so grateful for [the judge's] constructive criticism," before Chris to jokingly interjected with: "I'm not!"

Dianne then struggled to hold back tears as she continued: "But you mustn't forget, for 20 odd years, Chris's safe space has been down here [looking at the floor]. So for him to stand up and, it makes me quite emotional, because it is a big thing that we've overcome. And you've done so well!"

But Strictly fans were flocking to social media as they believed Chris and Dianne deserved a higher score - and they also slammed Anton Du Beke's comments as he said: "I’m with Shirley
