Strictly Come Dancing fans have issued a plea to show bosses after a moment during the latest final has ended up being disrupted by two of the the professional dancers.

The 2024 run of the hit BBC One dance contest came to an end on Saturday night (December 14) with a glittering grand final. The last live show of the series saw the four finalists perform three dances each as they hit the ballroom floor for the last time.

At the end of the night, it was Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell who emerged victorious as despite finishing bottom of the leaderboard with the judges' scores, the voting public got behind them and saw them lift the famous Glitterball trophy.

They beat fellow finalists Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS star JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley to be crowned this year's champions after capturing the hearts of the nation during the three-month series.

The final of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series also saw the cast of Strictly 2024 returned to the dancefloor for one last bright and joyous routine while the professional dancers also joined singer-songwriter Raye for a special performance of Oscar Winning Tears.

And days on from the glittering end to another series, Strictly has took to social media with a fresh clip in which Jamie Borthwick and Michelle Tsiakkas were seen re-living their brilliant Jive to The Ketchup Song by Las Ketchup.
