BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans ask 'was there any point' after sparkling grand final causes 'fix' complaints
Strictly Come Dancing has been hit with a fresh 'fix' row following its sparkling grand final as some fans were left asking 'was there any point?'
The hit dance show came to an end for another year on Saturday night (December 14) with the four final couples battling out to be crowned the 2024 champions and lift the famous Glitterball trophy.
It was Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell who emerged as the BBC One dance contest's champions this year after they beat Miranda actress Sarah Hadland and partner Vito Coppola, Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and JLS singer JB Gill and partner Lauren Oakley.

After being announced as the winner, Chris said: "This is for her (Dianne) and it’s for everyone out there that thought and got told they couldn’t do something. It just shows with opportunity and support and determination, anything can happen.”
He also thanked Australian dancer Dianne, saying: "She deserves this so much. She’s just honestly one of the easiest people to be funny with – and unless she changes her number, she’s stuck with me."
But the results did spark complaints among some Strictly fans who had other ideas about who should have won on the night. @casperdave said: "Such a shame people vote for their favourite celebrity, not the best dancer. It’s been clear from day one who would win, simply based on who they are, not how they dance #Strictly." @ClausSlaggy commented: "I didn't realise that the judges score meant nothing for the final... so Chris has just won then? No point in watching #strictly."
