BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty halts live broadcast to address show blunder

On Friday, BBC Breakfast had to be briefly interrupted after a technical glitch occurred on set. Presenter Naga Munchetty was preparing viewers for a segment when she experienced the hiccup.

She remarked: "In the last 24 hours, the BBC has been looking at some of the challenges facing the industry as part of a campaign called Farm Watch set up to inform and educate the public about what it is really like to be a farmer, take a look."

He observed: "I suppose in a way what happened there is a bit like farming, isn't it? Things don't always go according to plan and you have to deal with things and cope in the moment."

BBC Breakfast also saw a shake-up among presenters as the show welcomed Sarah Keith-Lucas, who was stepping in for the usual weather correspondent, Carol Kirkwood.
