Arsenal's next five Premier League fixtures after Brentford victory compared to Man City and Liverpool

Manchester City are preparing for their big Premier League match against Liverpool on Sunday.

City are currently one point behind Liverpool going into Sunday's fixture at Anfield, as Pep Guardiola and Co. look to return to the top of the table. Just a day before, Arsenal played against Brentford at the Emirates Stadium where victory would have sent the Gunners to the Premier League summit.

In a thrilling match, Arsenal managed to secure a 2-1 victory over the Bees. Kai Havertz scored the winning goal in the 86th minute. Earlier, Declan Rice had scored the first goal, but an error from Aaron Ramsdale allowed Yoane Wissa to equalise for Brentford just before half-time.

Now, City are in third place and two points behind leaders Arsenal with a game in hand ahead of Sunday's trip to Merseyside. This is City's last Premier League game before the international break, reports the Liverpool Echo.
