‘Not happy’ - Man City ace Manuel Akanji sends title warning to Arsenal ahead of crunch clash

Manuel Akanji believes Manchester City are in a strong position heading into the season’s run-in and says the club are not prepared to settle for second place.

The Blues, still on for another Treble, remain a point behind Arsenal in the title race having drawn with Liverpool prior to the international break. “We probably could have done some things better, and we didn't get three points,” Akanji said of the 1-1 result. “But we still have 10 games to play in the league. “I think we're in a good position. We're one point behind Arsenal and Liverpool – we couldn't win [against Liverpool], but it was still a good point.

“We now have two big home games against Arsenal and [Aston] Villa. We're still in the race for three titles, so I think the season has been good – it's not great, but we're on a good path.”

After full-time during the fixture at The Emirates, Kyle Walker got into a spat with Arsenal coach Nicolas Jover
