Arsenal 'in talks' with £125k-a-week star at the Emirates

Arsenal have told Bukayo Saka and his representatives that he is an ‘important’ part of their long-term plans and the winger will pen a new Emirates Stadium contract ‘soon’, according to journalist Paul Brown.

Saka has played a key role in the Gunners going into the international break sitting top of the Premier League table and boss Mikel Arteta wants the academy product to commit his future to the club.

Brown believes Arsenal have been making it clear to Saka that he has an integral part to play in Arteta’s squad during discussions.

The journalist understands the winger is not seeking a hefty pay rise and, as a result, is optimistic that he will agree to fresh terms quickly.

When asked whether Saka should sign a new deal, Brown told GIVEMESPORT: “I think that’s the right thing for him.
