Ange Postecoglou in Celtic title race reminder as he gives Rangers slip question short shrift

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou insists his side aren't bothered by the Rangers result - "I thought we were in a title race all year, mate?".

The Hoops can open their gap at the top of the Premiership to three points with a win over Dundee at Parkhead, after their city rivals were held 1-1 at Tannadice.

Rangers have taken just three points from 12 away from home, including a comprehensive defeat to Celtic, as the balance has shifted in the title race.

A home game against the side bottom of the table couldn't be a better opportunity to drive home an advantage, but the Hoops boss insisted it won't be extra motivation for his players.

Asked about their rivals dropping points Postecoglou hit back: "I thought we were in a title race all year, mate?

"So nothing changes.

"We don't get anything extra from what other teams do, we've got no interest in that whatsoever.

"What's important is we get three points and play well today.

"If we do that, why would we care about anything else?"
