Andre Onana needs to show Man United haven't made the same mistake Pep Guardiola made at Man City
Andre Onana was described as a 'lifesaver' by a member of Manchester United communications staff after the season's opening game.
United were fortunate to scrape a 1-0 win against Wolves and with just a few journalists waiting in the mixed zone, the impression was that nobody in the dressing room wanted to come out and speak to reporters.
Speaking to journalists is something footballers are often reluctant to do, but Onana put his hand up and volunteered, despite having made a mistake that should have been punished by Wolves being awarded a late penalty.

Onana came across well, although he insisted he wasn't concerned when Wolves looked set to be awarded a penalty. The goalkeeper played the incident down when in reality he was fortunate not to have his debut marred.
Starts against Tottenham, Nottingham Forest, Arsenal and Brighton followed and Onana conceded a total of 10 goals in those fixtures, but with the exception of his appearance against the latter, he was helpless in stopping most of those.
Onana had also demonstrated his excellent range of passing across that run, however, it was far too early to judge his start to life at Old Trafford and the challenge of facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League came next.
Inter Milan made the final of the Champions League last season and Onana kept clean sheets on that journey to Istanbul, which is why it came as such a shock to see him commit the cardinal sin as 'keeper against Bayern.
