Adam Thomas teases Emmerdale fans as he sends fired-up post about 'return' after 'deja vu' scenes

Adam Thomas has teased his 'return' to Emmerdale after he shares his response to one of the show's latest storylines which has left fans sharing 'deja vu' complaints. The actor may have his hands a bit too full right now as he's filming Waterloo Road and taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.

Adam is known for having played Adam Barton in Emmerdale for almost 10 years. However, following a break from acting to participate in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2016, Adam decided to quit the soap.

But after seeing a clip from the latest episode of the ITV soap, it appears the 35-year-old may be tempted by a trip back to the Dales in the near future. During Thursday night's trop to the fictional Yorkshire village, fans saw Jacob Gallagher confront Victoria Sugden with his true feelings.

Jacob had a serious fright at the start of the week when he suffered a severe allergic reaction. During an event at The Hide, hosted by Leyla Cavanagh and colleague Suzy Merton, Victoria mistakenly told Jacob, who has a nut allergy, the food was nut-free when it wasn't. Within seconds he was struggling to breathe as he came out in rashes and started to sweat before collapsing to the ground as he went into anaphylactic shock.

During his stint in the hospital, Victoria paid him a visit, despite Leyla being on the warpath, and it soon became clear he had feelings for David Metcalfe's ex as he told her she wasn't to blame for what happened. He held onto Victoria's hands and admitted he was glad she was there, staring into her eyes before Victoria got up to
