Aberdeen agree £6.8million Bojan Miovski transfer as star striker jets off to seal Giron deal

Aberdeen have agreed a £6.8 million deal to sell Bojan Miovski to Girona.

The North Macedonian international has agreed a four year deal with the Spanish side. Miovski has now been given permission to travel to Spain and the deal is now subject to a medical. It will see the Dons make a significant profit on the striker Jim Goodwin signed for £600,000 from Hungarian side MTK two years ago.

Aberdeen chiefs managed to drive up the price of the deal deal with Girona, who had initially come in at around £3 million. Miovski had other interest but made it clear he wanted to join the Champions League -bound Spanish side. His Pittodrie farewell appearance was in the weekend win over St Mirren, although whether the deal will be rubber stamped in time for him to make his Girona debut away to Real Betis this Thursday night remains to be seen.
