Lennon Miller has an admirer in Brendan Rodgers, but he is far from the only one.

The Motherwell starlet put in a man-of-the-match performance against the champions at the weekend, setting up Blair Spittal's opener with a stunning piece of skill on the edge of the box. Celtic went on to win 3-1 thanks to a second half turnaround, but Miller more than made his mark, showing why he's a first team regular at Fir Park despite his tender years.

Rodgers made a point of having a word in Miller's ear after the game, congratulating him and wishing him all the best for the rest of the season, according to the 17-year-old. That's not to say Miller isn't on Celtic's transfer radar, but they will be far from alone in that given the start he's made to his career. Miller is the most obvious and high profile right now. It's only/already just over 18 months since his top team, debut depending on how you look at it. Eighteen months isn't that long, but not many 17-year-olds have that sort of senior playing time under their belts.

The youngest player in the club's history hasn't looked back since, racking up 26 in all competitions and more than 1500 minutes of playing time, scoring once and setting up two. He's a long way to go before becoming the finished article, but the potential is clear for all to see, and some may even feel it's worth paying for.
