5 Lazio stars to give Celtic 'trouble' in Champions League as one dangerman has traits Hoops know all about

Brendan Rodgers has been told to watch out for five Lazio stars who are poised to create Champions League problems for Celtic.

Maurizio Sarri's men are the Pot three club in Group C after the Premiership champions also landed Dutch champions Feyenoord and Spanish heavyweights Atletico Madrid in their top table group section. They will all poise major tests for the Hoops but Celtic have happy memories of recent clashes with Lazio, most notably a dramatic win in Rome during the second Neil Lennon era.

Former Italian sporting director Walter Sabatini - who counts Roma, Bologna and Salernitana amongst his former clubs - counts Kyogo and Daizen Maeda's Japanese teammate Daichi Kamada as one of five who could cause Parkhead concern. He told TMW: "When talented players turn on in Lazio, it's trouble for everyone. Sarri has given the team a solidity, but if Felipe Anderson and Luis Alberto turn on, as well as Ciro Immobile, Lazio becomes a competitive team.

"It will certainly be the case for the Champions League, like all metropolitan clubs. Guendouzi has an incredible impact on the match.

"He is gifted with physicality, tackling ability and has a decent ball transfer. Kamada, on the other hand, is very Japanese, with extreme reliability and insertions."
