Celtic fans don’t know how to feel about their chances of making it three-in-a-row in the Scottish Premiership after the proverbial game of two halves at Fir Park on Sunday.
Many feared the worst before the trip to Lanarkshire with the champions trailing Rangers by five points in the title race following a drab draw at home to Kilmarnock the previous weekend. An an insipid opening 45 minutes which saw them trailing Motherwell at the break only strengthened their feeling that they could be second best this season.
But then by full time the Celtic fans were celebrating another Fir Park late show and a three points that could prove to be massive in the context of what looks like a title race going right to the wire. Could the victory and second half performance be the catalyst to title success or is it just another false dawn in a season that has failed to get going on Brendan Rodgers’ return to the Parkhead hot-seat.
