India are set to tour Australia for a five-match Test series, starting November 22 this year. The Rohit Sharma-led side will aim to make it a hat-trick of wins in Australia as it has bagged the last two Test series, known as Border-Gavaskar Trophy, on the opponents' homesoil in 2018-19 and 2020-21.

India's most recent Test outing in Australia was nothing short of a movie plot as the side was bundled out for an embarrassing 36 in its second innings to eventually lose the first Test, only to make a remarkable comeback and register a 2-1 series victory.

While asked about his prediction regarding India's upcoming five-match Test series vs Australia, former cricketer Yuvraj Singh, on Club Prairie Fire podcast, predicted the series to go 3-2 in favour of India.

Meanwhile, Michael Vaughan and Adam Gilchrist predicted Australia to win the series. "I think it is the best series that world cricket can see at this minute.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan waxed lyrical about England star batter Joe Root, as the latter notched up a 35th Test century, going past the tally of cricket icons like Sunil Gavaskar and Brian Lara. However, despite Root's consistent exploits, Vaughan was open to admit his weakness. In fact, Vaughan said that Root only struggles against one bowler in the entire world, and went on to reason why. That bowler is none other than the No. 1-ranked ICC Test bowler in the world - India's Jasprit Bumrah.

Chasing a mediocre target of 128 runs against Bangladesh in the first T20I on Sunday, India openers Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson looked to give the team a fine start. Just as the duo looked to have settled in, Abhishek was run out for 16 runs off 7 balls. The disappointment at losing the wicket in such a fashion was visible on the batter's face. Though India still went on to win the match by a comprehensive margin, Abhishek didn't manage to evade criticism.
