WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is said to be ahead of schedule when it comes to his recovery from injury. Cody hasn’t been seen in WWE since June, when he beat Seth Rollins in the main event of Hell in a Cell.
Days before the show, Cody tore his pec completely off the bone, but heroically still competed in his match against Rollins.
When Cody was first injured, it was revealed by WWE that he'd be out of action for "several months", with rumours even suggesting he was unlikely to wrestle again in 2022.
Well, in what will come as good news to fans of the former AEW wrestler, Dave Meltzer is reporting Cody is ahead of schedule with regards to his injury return, via WrestleTalk. In fact, the Wrestling Observer notes that Rhodes is pretty much back to "normal" when it comes to how he can function in real-life, but things are "extremely light" for him when it comes to training. Rhodes appears to be a little ahead of schedule in healing.
