Wolverhampton Wanderers are finalising a deal to sign Sasa Kalajdzic from Stuttgart before Thursday night’s transfer deadline, with contracts now being signed, according to Fabrizio Romano. Bruno Lage has overseen a busy few months of business at Molineux and time is running out if he is to strengthen his squad further with the cut-off now imminent.
It is understood that Wolves are set to complete the signing of the 25-year-old marksman after agreeing to a £15.4 million fee with Stuttgart.
Kalajdzic was left out of the German side’s squad in midweek for a friendly with Koln, while he focuses on completing a transfer to the West Midlands.
According to MailOnline, Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton were all targeting the 6ft 7in frontman earlier in the window.
