Wierer wraps up dream weekend in Sweden

Dorothea Wierer made it two wins from two events in Oestersund in the mass start as Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen earned his first biathlon World Cup win of the season.

The Italian took advantage of a miss from Julia Simon on her final shot to take victory in the women's 12.5km mass start, adding to the individual win she took on Thursday.

Ad The victory puts Wierer, who shot clear, up to second in the overall World Cup standings, although Simon's third place took her closer to the crystal globe as she leads by 144 points before the final three events in Oslo.
