Manchester United supporters have given a mixed reaction to the update on Noam Emeran’s future at the club. The 20-year-old forward is yet to make a senior appearance for the club but impressed during pre-season, scoring against Leeds United in Oslo.
United fought off competition from PSG and Juventus for his signature in 2019 but Emeran is now set to enter a new stage in his career.
The Manchester Evening News understands United have agreed to sell Emeran to Dutch side FC Groningen as he searches for first team football.
The deal is understood to include a sell-on clause which would give the Reds another opportunity to reap some rewards if he succeeds in the Eredivisie.
