Why Jose Mourinho could face further punishment after Fenerbahce red card vs Man United

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho could face a further sanction after being sent off during Thursday's 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce.

The Portuguese tactician was shown a straight red card by referee Clement Turpin for his reaction to Bright Asayi-Samuel's penalty claim midway through the second-half.

Mourinho was forced to watch on from the stands as his side earned a point against his former club. It was a third successive draw for United as they once again squandered a lead in Europe.

Christian Eriksen fired the visitors in front before Youssef En-Nesyri restored parity, just four minutes into the second-half, as their struggles continued following ties against FC Twente and Porto.
