Midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has already vowed to try and fight for his place at Bayern Munich amid Manchester United's interest in his signature.

The Manchester Evening News understands that United, who were beaten 2-0 by Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, are considering a move for the 21-year-old.

The Reds want to add another midfielder to their ranks before the transfer window closes next week. Should they manage to offload Donny van de Beek, who has been the subject of interest from Real Sociedad, it would open the door for United to try and recruit another central midfielder.

Gravenberch, who joined Bayern from Ajax last summer, is no stranger to United boss Erik ten Hag after working with him at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
