It's an open secret that Manchester United are in need of a new centre-forward in the summer transfer window. Erik ten Hag has targeted the position in order to add the firepower needed to push his side onto the next level.
He has been described as being 'obsessed' with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane, although the club are working under the assumption Spurs will not sell to a Premier League rival.
That may force the Reds to look elsewhere, with Napoli's Victor Osimhen, Benfica's Goncalo Ramos, Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani, Ajax's Mohammed Kudus and Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund all being monitored as potential alternatives.
However, with Anthony Martial's injury struggles this season the club could yet look to bring in one forward for the here-and-now as well as signing another young talent for the future.
