Marcus Rashford showed support for his Manchester United teammates after suffering defeat in the FA Cup final. The forward was aiming to lift the famous trophy for the second time in his career as he lined up at Wembley on Saturday.
Rashford has enjoyed his most prolific season for United this year, reaching 30 goals across all competitions, but was unable to fire his boyhood team to glory against rivals Manchester City.
An incredibly early strike from Ilkay Gundogan, inside the first minute, took United by surprise but Erik ten Hag’s side found a way to get themselves back level before the end of the first half through Bruno Fernandes's penalty.
Both sides were searching for a cup double but a goal for City, soon after the half-time break, proved to be decisive.
