West Brom 1-0 Swansea City: Swans made to pay for slow start

walesonline.co.uk

Swansea City were made to pay for a slow start as they slipped to their second Championship defeat of the season at the hands of West Bromwich Albion.

Jayson Molumby handed the hosts a deserved lead just before half-time and, despite an improved second-half performance, the Swans couldn't find an elusive leveller.

There will be much to ponder for boss Luke Williams, whose recruitment efforts came to a somewhat subdued end on deadline day, with Myles Peart-Harris the only addition to his squad.

The midfielder one of four summer signings to start on the bench here. Supporters may still feel a little uneasy about how well equipped their side are heading into the rest of the season on this evidence.
