Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney will join the BBC Sport punditry panel on Wednesday night as his old club face Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup fifth round.
Rooney is currently unemployed after a disastrous start to 2024. The 38-year-old was shockingly employed as manager of Birmingham City in October with the West Midlands club sitting in the Championship play-off places.
However, a terrible start which saw his new club winning just two matches in 15 led to the former striker being sacked on January 2.
Since then, Rooney has taken time out to be with his family and has been invited back to Old Trafford to watch United.
