Victim discharged from hospital after being seriously injured in horror stabbing with police still hunting offenders

A victim who was left seriously injured in a horror stabbing has been discharged from hospital - with police still hunting the offenders responsible for the violent attack.

Police and paramedics raced to the scene and cordoned off Rutherford Avenue, in Rusholme, just before 9pm on Saturday (April 8) after reports of a serious assault and found a man badly injured with stab wounds.

He has since been discharged, with officers still investigating the violent attack. It was initially believed the attack happened after a road traffic incident, with detectives following up a number of lines of enquiry.
