One dead and seven seriously injured after stabbing outside Bodmin club

A man is dead following a 'serious altercation' which involved a knife in a Cornwall town, with several others injured. Police have now confirmed that one man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was killed in Bodmin, with seven other people were injured.

It was reported that someone in the area had been in possession of a knife and that some people had sustained stab wounds. Police were called at 3:15am on Sunday, April 30 to Victoria Square on Castle Canyke Road to a report of a serious altercation.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. At least seven other people have been injured and taken to hospital.
