Vernon Kay admits he was left “a little bit weepy” after being sent a video from a friend in Ibiza. The 50-year-old Radio 2 presenter revealed a friend had sent him a video from a super club in the popular tourist hotspot.
But instead of embracing the tunes, the people inside the venue were on their mobile phones. Vernon, who has hosted radio shows for over 20 years, says the sight made him feel “weepy inside”.
Instead, he encouraged revellers to “live in the moment” and put their phones down. It makes me a little bit weepy inside. “Just live in the moment. Let the music take you away because, let's be honest, all those kids that are filming the DJs doing what DJs do, they’re never going to watch it back.
