Crystal Palace are set to complete the signing of United States men's international goalkeeper Matt Turner on a season-long loan, sources have told ESPN.
The deal does not include an option or obligation to make the move permanent. Turner, 30, joins Palace to challenge Dean Henderson for the first-choice keeper spot.
He arrives on the same day Palace saw Sam Johnstone join Wolves for a fee that could rise to as much as £10 million. He was linked with a move away earlier in the transfer window, but Nottingham Forest were reluctant to let him leave.
But with the clock ticking down on transfer deadline day, Crystal Palace have made a late move. Turner has had to vie with Carlos Miguel and Matz Sels this season and has found himself third in the pecking order.
