This Morning staff say they 'faced further bullying' after reporting toxicity concerns amid Phillip Schofield exit

Staff working behind the scenes on This Morning have told how they 'faced further bullying' after reporting concerns of toxicity backstage on the popular show.

The news comes after ITV's boss faced questioning by a parliamentary committee in the fallout of Phillip Schofield's exit from the ITV daytime show.

In June, ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall faced questions from MPs about the scandal surrounding the Oldham-born presenter quitting the show.

Schofield, 61, resigned from ITV and was dropped by his talent agency YMU after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague on the show.
