Stirling Albion boss hopes for January window boost as Binos prepare for primetime Hamilton clash

dailyrecord.co.uk

Stirling Albion boss Darren Young is hopeful of doing some shrewd shopping in the January sales as his side prepare for another night in front of the TV cameras on Saturday.

The Binos’ three-match unbeaten run came to a thundering halt last weekend as league leaders Falkirk ensured a special 2023 ended on the sourest of notes with the Bairns romping to a 5-0 victory at the Falkirk Stadium.

It’s the second time that Stirling have gone down to a five-goal defeat this season – and the other was inflicted by this weekend’s opponents Hamilton Accies during the sides’ last meeting in South Lanarkshire in November.

However, it may be the first fixture between the sides at Forthbank in early September that may instead provide the blueprint.
