Sparta Prague director sends transfer warning to Manchester United goalkeeper Matej Kovar

Sparta Prague remain hopeful of taking Matej Kovar back on loan next season but their sporting director insists they 'cannot wait' for him to make a decision.

Kovar enjoyed an impressive 45 minutes in goal during Wednesday's 2-0 friendly win over Leeds in Oslo. The 23-year-old had little to do in terms of goalkeeping but stood out for his composure on the ball - a quality Erik ten Hag values massively.

Having spent last season on loan with Sparta Prague, the shot-stopper got a taste of first-team football and featured regularly as they won the league title.

And his spell was impressive enough for the club to want him back again this summer.
