Sparta Prague remain hopeful of taking Matej Kovar back on loan next season but their sporting director insists they 'cannot wait' for him to make a decision.
Kovar enjoyed an impressive 45 minutes in goal during Wednesday's 2-0 friendly win over Leeds in Oslo. The 23-year-old had little to do in terms of goalkeeping but stood out for his composure on the ball - a quality Erik ten Hag values massively.
Having spent last season on loan with Sparta Prague, the shot-stopper got a taste of first-team football and featured regularly as they won the league title.
