Manchester United goalkeeper Matej Kovar will cost around £6million to buy, according to reports. Aston Villa are said to be chasing the 23-year-old, who won the Czech title with Sparta Prague last year.
He was linked with a move back to his homeland before a move fell through. SPORT now claims United have set their benchmark for the shot-stopper, who is yet to make his senior debut since coming through the academy ranks.
The likes of Spanish club Cadiz have also been linked with Kovar, who impressed during his 90 minutes in last month's friendly against Lyon.
It's uncertain whether United would allow Kovar to leave on a permanent deal or a loan move, albeit it's not thought the shot-stopper is invovled in Erik ten Hag's plans this season either way.
