In-form Deal climbed to second place in the Southern Counties East Premier Division. The Hoops secured a sixth successive victory with Connor Coyne’s 10th-minute strike enough to beat Rusthall in front of a big home crowd of 477.

They move above Phoenix, whose own winning streak was ended by Bearsted. It finished 1-1, with Andy Pugh cancelling out Colby Waite’s opener for the Bears.

Erith Town are level on points with Phoenix after coming from a goal down to win 3-1 at Kennington. James Haylock-Ashdown put Ton in front but James Trueman levelled and Hayden Bullas and Harry Taylor won it for the Dockers in the last 20 minutes.

Hollands & Blair backed up their midweek win at leaders Erith & Belvedere with Rob Gillman on target midway through the second half in a 1-0 home victory against Glebe.
