Sheikh Mansour is committed to strengthening Manchester City after their treble-winning achievements this season. City owner Sheikh Mansour was in attendance for the Champions League final win over Inter Milan at the weekend - only his second-ever City game - to see his club become champions of Europe for the first time.
In achieving the treble, City have managed what only Manchester United have done in England before by winning the league, FA Cup and European Cup in the same season.
In the days since the final in Istanbul, Pep Guardiola was in Manchester on Monday to enjoy the club's treble parade through a rain-soaked city centre, and has since flown to Abu Dhabi for an audience with Sheikh Mansour - along with the three trophies.
Along with chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, CEO Ferran Soriano and Sporting Director Txiki Begiristain, Sheikh Mansour discussed City's successes in 2022/23, their plans for next season, and how to 'strengthen' City's position on a global scale.
