Bayern Munich are in advanced negotiations over the signing of Kyle Walker from Manchester City, according to reports. Walker's future at City has become increasingly uncertain, with the 33-year-old thought to be frustrated at being left out of the biggest games.
He was surprisingly dropped for the Champions League earlier this month, though to have been a major disappointment. With one year left on his contract, speculation has intensified that he may move on in search of a more regular first-team place.
Several sides in the Premier League and across Europe have been linked, but Sky Germany suggests Bayern will win the race. Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is thought to have been a major driver of the move, convincing Walker to join the Bundesliga champions.
The decision could see them opt out of their chance to sign Joao Cancelo - currently on loan - for €70million.
