Scot Gemmill hailed his Scotland U21s stars as they secured a famous win away at Belgium. Goals from Leeds United defender Jeremiah Mullen and Dundee midfielder Lyall Cameron were enough to seal a 2-0 success.
The Belgian had won their previous three games in the group without conceding a goal. Now Scotland have won their last three games in their Euro 2025 group against Hungary, Malta and Belgium to put the frustration of an opening day defeat in pain behind them.
Sitting second in the group ahead of Tuesday's journey to Budapest, Gemmill said: "It is a fantastic result because we can agree on the fact that Belgium are a top team.
I'm obviously delighted for the players. Of course, it was real backs to the walls but it shows another side to the players and it shows we are working with the right players because they were willing to do that. "It showed they had that kind of performance in them.
