The deal to take Russell Martin from Swansea City to Southampton appears to be coming to a head.With the Premier League season now having finished and Ruben Selles officially having taken charge of his last Saints game, it is expected that things will now ramp up with regards to Martin heading to the south coast.It means talk has already started over who will replace Martin in SA1, with former USA head coach Gregg Berhalter a name being considered by the Swans hierarchy, which you can read more about here.Former Swansea coach Chris Davies and Plymouth Argyle manager Steven Schumacher were the early frontrunners with bookmakers, while ex-Brighton and Watford boss Oscar Garcia has also been mentioned as a possibility.However, reports from the Mail over the weekend suggest Birmingham City boss John Eustace is now in the frame.
Eustace was previously sounded out by Swansea when both Graham Potter and Steve Cooper left, but turned down the chance to take the reins.
