Rio Ferdinand's 'biggest concern' at Manchester United this season is that he can't see an obvious route to solving the goalscoring problem.

But while the result was welcomed by supporters, it was another flat performance in attack and the reliance on McTominay's late brace was symptomatic of a misfiring front line.
