Rio Ferdinand details 'biggest concern' at Manchester United as Erik ten Hag pressure addressed
Rio Ferdinand's 'biggest concern' at Manchester United this season is that he can't see an obvious route to solving the goalscoring problem.
United arrested their concerning start to the season with a dramatic 2-1 win over Brentford on Saturday. Having been 1-0 down as the board showed six minutes of added time, two goals from Scott McTominay snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
But while the result was welcomed by supporters, it was another flat performance in attack and the reliance on McTominay's late brace was symptomatic of a misfiring front line. Marcus Rashford, last season's top goalscorer, has just one goal this season and his teammates are doing little to help.

Having overseen United's worst start to a season in 39 years, pressure has been building on Erik ten Hag. But Ferdinand insists the Dutchman's job is not at risk - although he is concerned at the lack of attacking threat.
“I don't think there's pressure from within,” Ferdinand told FIVE. “I don't think the hierarchy are sitting and sharpening their knives for Ten Hag, I don't think so.
“Obviously outside there is a lot of noise. Results haven’t been what we expected and also performances. One of the most concerning things for me is you’re watching and thinking ‘I can't see goals, I can't see chances being created’.
“My two boys are Man United fans and they’re like ‘Dad, is this what we're in for for two years?’. The house is morbid. The football result really decides the temperature of the house.
