Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes say same thing about Rasmus Hojlund at Manchester United

Both Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes believe that striker Rasmus Hojlund has the necessary credentials to succeed at Manchester United.

The 20-year-old, who made his Champions League debut in United's clash with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening, joined the club from Atalanta last month.

The Reds added him to their ranks after agreeing a deal worth £72million with the Italian outfit. Hojlund joined Atalanta from Austrian side Sturm Graz in August 2022 and enjoyed a relatively successful one-and-only season in Italy, scoring 10 goals and grabbing four assists in all competitions.

However, he is yet to prove himself as a seasoned goalscorer who is capable of scoring 20 or 30 goals a season.
