Richard Odada on why he is so desperate to make up for lost time at Dundee United

Richard Odada has had to be patient but is now determined to make up for lost time with Dundee United. The Kenyan international arrived at the end of July from Philadelphia Union.

The problem for the midfielder is that he arrived when Jim Goodwin’s new-look squad was already up and running domestically.

Odada had to find his feet and also play catch-up in terms of fitness and match sharpness but injuries to the likes of Craig Sibbald and Ross Docherty have now opened the door for him.

The United new boy stated: “I am here to play as much as possible, I want to get as many minutes and help the team to the best results possible.
