The Minnesota Twins are acquiring closer Jorge Lopez from the Baltimore Orioles, according to multiple reports. After struggling as a starter for the majority of last season, Lopez moved into a bullpen role and found his form. He was named to the All-Star team in July and carries a 1.68 ERA with 19 saves in 44 appearances so far this season.
Prior to his time in Baltimore, Lopez spent time with the Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals, beginning his big league career in 2015.
