Rasmus Hojlund transfer can prove Erik ten Hag and Manchester United right

There’s a new sheriff in town as far as Manchester United’s front line is concerned and his name is Rasmus Hojlund. The Danish striker is all set to complete his move from Atalanta to the Premier League giants this weekend.

United have agreed a deal worth more than £70million for the 20-year-old striker as United finally get the centre forward Erik ten Hag craves.

Other names were in the frame, notably Harry Kane. But as the chances of that move dissipated, the Reds looked elsewhere. Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos was one name considered by United, given his exploits at the World Cup where he hit a stunning hat-trick against Switzerland.

He now seems to be on his way to Paris St Germain with the Benfica striker expected to complete a move to the French giants for £69million.
