Christian Eriksen talked with Rasmus Hojlund about moving to Old Trafford, the new Manchester United signing has revealed. United have secured their much-needed striker by securing starlet Hojlund in a deal with Atalanta that could rise as high as £72million.
The Dane was unveiled to his new supporters ahead of the friendly victory over Lens on Saturday after signing a five-year contract.
Though Hojlund is currently nursing an injury which will delay his debut, the 20-year-old has been getting used to his new Carrington surroundings and getting to know his teammates.
One man he already knows well is playmaker Eriksen as they are international teammates for Denmark. When asked by United's in-house media if Eriksen helped convince him to move to Manchester, Hojlund replied: “We speak a little [already].
