Raphael Varane names two reasons he can't wait to see Andre Onana at Manchester United

Raphael Varane admits he "can't wait" to play alongside new signing Andre Onana and has praised the goalkeeper's confidence in possession.

Onana could make his first appearance for United on Saturday when they face Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The 27-year-old flew out to the US on Thursday afternoon, following the agreement of a £47.72million fee with Inter Milan.

Manager Erik ten Hag identified Onana, who he worked with at Ajax, as his prime target to replace David de Gea upon the expiration of the Spaniard's contract.

The Dutchman became visibly frustrated by De Gea's lack of quality on the ball last season and eventually lost patience.
