Callum McGregor has attracted plenty of Hotline attention. The Celtic skipper announced his retirement from Scotland duty at the end of last week.
McGregor took to the pitch for the first time since the decision and smashed a stunning goal in front of national coach Steve Clarke to lead his team to a 2-0 win over Hibs.
There’s a mixed response amongst the correspondents as Robert McEwan, Mount Vernon, said: “Love Callum’s call on Scotland, same as Scott Brown did.
It can only be good for Celtic. A lot of so-called Scotland fans didn’t appreciate the guy.” But Donald Dundas, Uddingston, stated: “It must be the thought of pulling on a blue jersey that makes McGregor totally disappear on the international stage.
