Rabbi Matondo is "free" to leave Rangers as Michael Beale reshapes his squad, according to a report. The Welsh winger suffered a miserable maiden campaign at Ibrox after moving to the Light Blues last summer for a reported fee of £1.8 million from German side Schalke.
Matondo made just six Scottish Premiership starts in 28 appearances in total but failed to score and provided just five assists.
Shortly after succeeding Giovanni van Bronckhorst, boss Beale admitted the player was suffering a confidence crisis. He said: "He's a young boy.
He's an international, played in the Bundesliga, played in the Belgian league, he's here for a reason. He's maybe having a crisis of confidence." Now the Sunday Mirror say: "Wales international Rabbi Matondo is free to leave Glasgow Rangers this summer.
