Premier League 22/23: Game Week 8 Predictions

The Premier League is now in its eighth game week for the 22/23 season, so here we have our predictions for how we think the fixtures will play out. Last week the entirety of the United Kingdom was saddened by the news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, which resulted in every single Premier League fixture in game week 7 being postponed until further notice.

Similarly this week, some fixtures will not be taking place. Manchester United, Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea and Liverpool all won’t be in action – however we still do have seven fixtures taking place.

So with fixtures to be played, it’s only apparent that we should showcase our predictions. Here are our Game Week 8 predictions for the 22/23 Premier League season. This one is tough to call, so we’ll go for a draw. Prediction: Aston Villa 1 – 1 Southampton A battle of the newly promoted sides. Fulham have looked sharp thus far and we think they’ll win this one. Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1 – 2 Fulham A game where we could see Diego Costa‘s return to the Premier League.
